dc.description.abstractApós a promulgação da Constituição Federal de 1988, houve um expressivo incremento no ingresso de mulheres nas carreiras do Ministério Público brasileiro. No entanto, segundo o levantamento realizado pelo Conselho Nacional do Ministério Público, a despeito da proporção média de 40% de mulheres para 60% de homens, há baixa representatividade feminina nos espaços de poder. Nesse cenário, lideranças femininas têm papel fundamental na desconstrução de estereótipos, na formação de novos modelos profissionais e no encorajamento à busca pelo crescimento na carreira. Dentre as carreiras jurídicas, o Ministério Público se destaca como ambiente propício ao reconhecimento profissional de mulheres. É importante identificar as pioneiras no sistema de justiça brasileiro e contextualizar a trajetória de mulheres oriundas dos quadros do Ministério Público que chegaram a órgãos de representação nacional tradicionalmente liderados por homens. Por isso, foram realizadas entrevistas com as primeiras mulheres a ocupar os cargos de Presidente do Conselho Nacional de Procuradores-Gerais, Presidente do Superior Tribunal de Justiça, Presidente do Supremo Tribunal Federal e Procuradora-Geral da República.pt_BR
dc.description.abstractAfter the enactment of the Federal Constitution of 1988, the entry of women into the careers of the Brazilian Prosecution Service increased significantly. Nonetheless, according to the survey carried out by the National Council of Prosecution Services, despite the average proportion of 40% of women to 60% of men, there is low female representation in the spaces of power. In this scenario, female leaders play a fundamental role in deconstructing stereotypes, in forming of new professional models and in encouraging career growth. Among legal careers, the Prosecution Service stands out as an environment conducive to the professional recognition of women. It is important to identify the female pioneers in the Brazilian justice system and contextualize the trajectory of women from the Prosecution Service who reached national representation bodies traditionally led by men. Thus, interviews with the first Brazilian women to hold the positions of president of the National Council of Prosecutors General, president of the Superior Court of Justice, president of the Supreme Federal Court and Prosecutor General of the Republic.en
